Interpretation Courses in Liteň 2018

The 5^th year of Interpretation Courses in Liteň brought a conceptual change in the series of these events. For the first time in the history, the courses were led by the top Czech soprano Martina Janková in the cooperation with the expert for the baroque singing – Markéta Cukrová who has visited Liteň for the second time. And Tomáš Krejčí was the accompanist of these courses.

The course attendees thus had a chance to study a wider repertoire spectrum with new lectures.

There was one more novelty – the final concert was prepared in a different way – it was directed, open-air and held in different parts of chateau park. The concert had a form of so-called pasticcio and was directed by an opera director Marek Mokoš who shared his experience from performing with the attendees during the courses.

The Interpretation Courses in Liteň in 2018 were held on August 20–24, 2018 in the chateau area and the traditional conjoint final concert happened on August 24, 2018. The program consisted purely of Mozart’s arias.
