The Gala Concert of the Jarmila Novotná Festival 2019

The Gala Concert of the Jarmila Novotná Festival 2019 presented worldwide renown soprano Martina Janková, a famous Swiss pianist Gérard Wyss and the well-known pianist of the Czech younger generation Ivo Kahánek. The songs at this concert presented singing and piano music from Czech and international composers from the East to the West. French and German masterpieces were followed by Czech, Slovak, Polish and Russian music. A part of the programme was a recitation of verses of song lyrics by a great actress Eliška Balzerová.

In the evening of September 20, 2019, the artists also invited to the beautiful podium of the Suk Hall in Rudolfinum young talents and fresh absolvents from the Interpretation Courses in Liteň 2019 to share their love of music.
