The Jarmila Novotná Festival Prize

Since 2018 we have started a collaboration with Bohuslav Martinu’s Song Contest. 

The contest is announced by the Gymnasium and Music School of the City of Prague, where it also takes place every year. Its interest is the interpretation of songs by Czech and world composers, especially the songs by Bohuslav Martinů.
At the same time, this competition fills a gap in song contests for pupils and students aged 10 to 21.

The Association of Chateau Liteň awards the winner in the younger age category to the age of 16-21 by The Jarmila Novotná Festival Prize every year. The fourth laureate’s name is Kateřina Hrušková.
