Interpretation Courses in Liteň 2019

The 6th year of the Interpretation Courses in Liteň 2019 will be a unique connection of the cooperation between sopranist Martina Janková and first-class pianists Gérard Wyss and Ivo Kahánek.

At the Song Academy of Jarmila Novotná Festival, Martina Janková will offer her long-standing experience from world opera stages together with her brilliant lecturer skills. In adition, both pianists will arange lessons of song literature for piano. Gérard Wyss will focus on teaching French and German music and Ivo Kahánek will focus on Czech, Slovakian, Polish and Russian repertory.

Both courses are aimed for art school graduates and professional young opera singers and pianists. The events will be held between 14–20 September, 2019 at the chateau grounds in Liteň. For the very first time, course absolvents will get
a chance to join two public performances which are traditionally on the last day of the courses at the final concert in Liteň on Thursday, September 19, 2019 and additionally on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Gala Concert of the JNF 2019 in the Suk Hall in Rudolfinum, Prague.

Advance ticket sales for the concerts has started! Tickets for the Final Concert of  Interpretation Courses in Liteň 2019 can be booked and purchased at tickets@zamekliten.cz or 724 880 826. The ticket price is 300 CZK. The concert will be held in Čechovna Hall from 6 pm.

Tickets for the Gala Concert of the JNF 2019 in the Suk Hall in Rudolfinum in categories for 400 and 500 CZK can be purchased at the Rudolfinum box office at 17. listopadu 79/1, Prague 1 or online at www.colosseumticket.cz. The concert starts at 7.30 pm.

You can still attend the courses as passive participant.

For passive participants, the fee is 500 CZK per day without accommodation.
